Description

Philippe UG didn't start out making pop-up books. He started making odd books with no fixed shape, and little by little he added a piece. Then two. Then volume. That's how he arrived at paper that rises on its own when you open the page. He's worked with Les Grandes Personnes for over ten years. This book follows the same path he did: one drop, then another, until something becomes a river.

POP-UP

Water travels a full journey in this animated book: it falls, runs over the land, irrigates the fields, seeps beneath the surface, and resurfaces as a spring. Philippe UG translates that journey into paper, page by page, with the same craftsmanship that has made him one of the great names in French pop-up books.
