Star Wars: The Life Day Pop-Up Book and Advent Calendar

What is an advent calendar? It's a collectible countdown, traditionally meant for the days leading up to Christmas: each pocket or door hides a different surprise, to be opened one per day. It's best to buy it ahead of time —before December— to leave room to gift it or start the countdown on schedule. It works as a gift for fans of a specific saga or franchise, and just as well for anyone who enjoys the idea of opening something new each day on the way to the holidays. How is it used? The ideal way is to open one pocket per day, following the numbered order, to experience the full countdown. It can also be opened all at once, though that loses the "day by day" charm that makes the format special.

It also works as a Christmas tree. When opened, a real pop-up tree unfolds and stands as a centerpiece or decoration — and it gets decorated little by little, since each pocket you open contains an ornament to hang directly on that same tree. It's an advent calendar and a Christmas tree in one object. On Kashyyyk, Life Day is celebrated with a tree that grows a little more each year. This book recreates that Wookiee tradition: opening it reveals a pop-up Tree of Life that becomes the season's centerpiece, with 25 compartments hiding ornaments to hang day by day.

Includes a 28-page booklet on the Life Day tradition, featuring Chewbacca and company. A festive trip to a galaxy far, far away, to count down the days until Christmas.
